Learning

Skills Phase

Practical learning that develops work habits, independence, entrepreneurship and participation.

01

Practical preparation for adult life

The Skills Phase supports learners who benefit from a more functional and practical curriculum. Learning develops everyday competence, work habits, communication, creativity and participation in the community.

02

Learning by doing

Programmes combine functional academics with practical activities. Depending on the learner’s pathway, this may include computer literacy, hospitality, woodwork and timber, personal-care services, maintenance, creative work and structured school-to-work exposure.
