Before you begin
Start with your current school or district support route.
Gather the educational and supporting documents requested for review.
Placement is confirmed through the relevant GDE process.
New Hope does not make LSEN placement decisions independently. Except for the youngest preschool applicants, referrals are managed through the learner’s current school and the relevant GDE district office using the SIAS process.
The district gathers the required information, arranges or considers multidisciplinary assessment and recommends the school best able to meet the learner’s needs. Placement may take place throughout the year when an appropriate placement is confirmed.
